Jamie Eternal cashes in Victory Cup to become VIP Wrestling Heavyweight Champion |

This past Saturday evening, Jamie Eternal became the winner of the 2011 Victory Cup Tournament. Originally slated to take on Jimmy Shalwin in the opening round, Justin Mane was moved into the second bracket after eliminating Shalwin from competition, further injuring his hand. Eternal defeated Justin Mane and advanced to the second round and his next opponent, Ryan Epic. In this classic David meets Goliath matchup, Epic gave everything he had but was unable to eliminate Eternal and sent him into the finals to face his toughest challenge yet. Eternal faced Jack Verville with his mentor, VIP Champion Keith Creme, sitting at ringside to watch the finals. Keith had already served as a distraction in Verville's previous match allowing him to defeat Marion Fontaine, so Eternal needed to stay sharp and focused. He managed to do just that, defeating Jack Verville and winning the Victory Cup. Keith Creme quickly ended Jamie Eternal's victory celebration when he climbed into the ring and blindsided him with a shot to the back of the head with Creme's VIP Championship Belt. Creme continued the assault with a ruthless barrage of blows to the face and head until VIP Wrestling's Masked Monster lay prone and lifeless in the ring. Keith grabbed his belt and made his way to the back as the closing music played and James Altraz began dismissing the Victory Nation. It was at this very moment, taking everyone by total shock and surprise, that Jamie Eternal sat upright in the ring. Glancing over at the Victory Cup, Eternal grabbed it and immediately turned it in to Max Morrison, cashing in on his opportunity to face the Champion. Keith accepted and removed his tie, ready to compete in nothing more than the slacks and shirt he was wearing. The referee called for the bell and one Superkick and F5 later and Jamie Eternal covered Keith Creme to become the new VIP Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Soon afterwards, the lockerroom emptied and the ring quicly became the location of the largest celebration of a victory in VIP Wrestling history.
